Northeast Portland covers a large area stretching from the Willamette River east and from Burnside Street north. The Hollywood Theater is a wonderful old theater that was built in the 1920’s and gives the district its name. The Rose Quarter is a complex of buildings for professional sports, and large venue entertainment. The Oregon Convention Center holds shows and conventions that bring in people from all over the world to Northeast Portland.
